Reston, VA – (September 19, 2017) – Acuity, Inc., a leading federal management and technology consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Danny Toler as Senior Vice President – Diplomatic Portfolio and Cyber Practice. Toler will be responsible for leading Acuity’s Cyber Security Practice and driving new business growth within Acuity’s Foreign Affairs business portfolio.
Having previously served as Acting Assistant Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Communications office, where he led the implementation of the Cybersecurity Act of 2015, Toler is uniquely qualified for the role with Acuity. Toler brings more than 35 years of experience as a strategic and innovative leader in the U.S. federal government. He built a reputation for establishing and executing successful, high-performance and cost-effective cyber programs with budgets exceeding $1 billion and a staff of over 1,500.

Before joining DHS, Toler spent 12 years at the Department of State (DOS) holding roles including Director of the Office of Enterprise Network Management and Division Chief of Network Engineering and Design, where he transitioned DOS into a new mode of operations and managed a network of over 300 locations worldwide.
