Technical Training Specialist II
In support of our client in Arlington, Virginia, Acuity, Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be required to work as part of a training team to teach proprietary Government application software to Department officers, family members, security officers, and locally engaged staff.
- Develops, organizes, and delivers technical training programs and related materials in support of customers and/or company employees
- Works with customer and functional organizations to establish course content and objectives
- Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements, or software documentation
- Ensures course material reflects current product features
- Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions

Software Test Engineer
In support of our Federal Government Client, Acuity Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Washington, DC.
Responsible for ensuring high-profile software applications used by senior officials and their staff have the highest software quality. Develop test plans and test scripts based on requirement documentations, using industry best practices. Execute test cases and test plans using manual and automated methods. Identify, isolate, and document software defects independently. Maintain and expand existing test documentation, including test plans, test cases or scripts, and defect reports. Provide project manager with evidence to proceed with a software release. Assist with on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integrated.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with software quality assurance or software engineering experience, including exposure to the full product development and quality assurance test cycles from requirements through post-release.
- 3+ years of experience in test automation with a commercial test tool package in a Windows client/server environment, including load/stress testing.
- Knowledge of defect tracking systems.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies within software development environment.
- Ability to be a team player and to demonstrate flexibility and capability of multi-tasking.
- Ability to formulate and implement effective test strategies and identify areas for efficiency gain through automation testing.

Help Desk Analyst
Acuity, Inc. is seeking a Top Secret cleared (or Secret cleared; clearable to TS) Help Desk Support professional to support our client in Washington, DC (Metro accessible). The qualified candidate will provide tier 1 and tier 2 information system solutions and technical support in personal computer/client server support, systems programming, applications design and development, database design and administration, telecommunications and network support and administration.
The successful candidate will have expert experience in a Windows environment, and must have strong troubleshooting skills with various hardware and software applications (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, IE, Netscape, etc.)
Required Experience:
- Must be able to use SMS to remotely troubleshoot desktop systems;
- Must have experience inspecting and testing secure fax systems;
- On-site invetory for IT assets
- Inspection and testing of VTCs
- Inspection and testing of peripherals (scanners, senders, etc...)

IT Project Manager/Project Analyst
The individual shall provide program management support and technical assistance for the implementation of BMCs Remedy Suite of Applications. Candidates should have an understanding of ITIL. Experience with incident management, change management, IT asset management are preferred, but not required.
Program support activities may include the following:
- Provide assistance throughout the project lifecycle in creating and/or reviewing technical documentation, technical services, project tracking, project reviews, and technical reviews and reporting related to enterprise IT project rollouts
- Ensure that project scope, costs, and timelines are managed and deviations are reported as necessary
- Attend periodic meetings as determined by project needs
- Compile Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) regarding the systems/services being implemented

Remedy Developer
Acuity is seeking a Remedy developer to support the development and administration of a Remedy-based ITSM solution. The successful candidate will interact with the client to define requirements, support testing of releases, and provide occasional off-hours support. Senior SharePoint Administrator
Acuity, Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills as a Senior SharePoint Administrator. This position is part of our State Department team and is located in Washington, DC.
The Department of State is strategically committed to fully utilize SharePoint so bring your experience in analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of SharePoint infrastructure, as well as, system health analysis, back-up/restore, security, governance and disaster recovery issues, to fully optimize SharePoint throughout the organization.
This is a high profile position which requires an experienced technical SharePoint subject matter expert who understands business requirements and can work closely with users, and our custom development team, so in addition to technical acumen, strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
Responsibilities:
- Planning standalone, single-server and multi-server farm deployments in a VMware and physical server eco-systems, including content isolation, and trusted solutions.
- Implementing SharePoint governance and SharePoint information architecture.
- Translating information architecture to a physical and virtual architecture.
- Formulating a Business Connectivity Services strategy, planning both a Microsoft Excel Services Strategy and an InfoPath Forms Services strategy.

Web Content Manager
Acuity, Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, graphic design and site management. This position will be located in Washington, DC.
The website content manager will be responsible developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s online presence. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development.
The content manager will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing online marketing and outreach campaigns. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and manage content for organization’s web presence (requires working with content management software)
- Coordinate web projects across departments
- Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
- Working with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties
