Configuration Management
Problem: Federal client requested IT services for configuration management for the purpose of maintaining software integrity and traceability throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) for world-wide mission critical software applications.
Work Performed: Performed configuration management for software applications for both public and private application environments. Tracked and traced software changes to verify final delivered of planned software enhancements required in the software release
Benefits: Centralized configuration knowledge to provide information used to assess the performance of the configuration process and to better understand the costs associated with configuration management thru measured statistics. Decreased the cost of the configuration process by keeping fixed the number of configuration administrators to manage increasing numbers of software applications.
