Acuity's network administrators have experience managing all aspects of computer hardware and software that comprises the computer network. This includes the deployment, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of active network equipment.  Acuity's network administrators concentrate on the overall health of the network, server deployment, security, and ensuring that the network connectivity throughout our client's LAN/WAN infrastructure is operational.

Acuity's network administrators handle activities and tasks such as network address assignment, assignment of routing protocols and routing table configuration and authentication and authorization of directory services. We perform maintenance of network facilities in individual servers, such as drivers, firmware, file servers, VPN firewalls, gateways, DNS and intrusion detection systems.

Work Performed:  A federal client requested network administration services to manage day to day operations for the maintenance of computer the network for hardware and software comprising client's 24x7 public and private computer networks. This task included the deployment, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of active network nodes and equipment and documenting standard operating procedures to support their computer network. Performed installation and maintenance of network environments tasks such as network address assignment, assignment of routing protocols and routing table configuration and configuration of authentication and authorization directory services for both physical and virtual networked environments.

Benefits:  Defined standard operating procedures for network maintenance allowing for repeatable maintenance outcomes that were successfully predictable thus reduced risk to the network environment.  Implemented virtual networks which reduced procurement costs across the network domain and reduced security network maintenance by three days by developing automated programs to handle routine security tasks.
